Escape to our fairytale, on 100 secluded acres of gorgeous forest on Lake Wedowee/river (short walk to water down road). Soak in the hot tub, bake a pizza in the wood-fired oven, snuggle in nest swing or stroll the river road to swim or kayak. Hike to Wolf Creek and pan for gold. This gorgeous cabin is inspired by the 1840s rock chimneys-found in the forest—built with reclaimed heart of pine, stained glass & cedar from the woods. No tv—this is a place to unplug. Our cabin is not big but has big lodge energy and loads of reclaimed architecturals. We took a lot of care to celebrate our woodsy surrounding. The cedar railings on the porch and in the loft are from the land.
Soak in the 4 seater hot tub while banking up a nice fire in the chimney with your beverage of choice. It's great all 4 seasons.
The Fairytale Cabin glows under a starry sky. We have twinkle lights around the porch and deck. There is zero light pollution and tons of birds and wildlife.
We have a wood burning stove on a bluestone hearth pad. The wall is clad in 130 year old Victorian metal roofing tiles (salvaged from an old house nearby.) This photo is a study in texture.
The cabin with it's auxillary entertainment deck with hot tub, griddle, loungers, chairs, outdoor fireplace, and wood fired pizza oven.
Our kitchenette has a hot plate with two burners, a fridge, microwave oven, and tons of pans, pots, stemware, glasses, etc. You can also cook in our wood fired pizza oven, air fryer, or on the Blackstone style griddle/grill.
